Our journey began in 1986, in the heart of Toronto’s historic College Park Shopping Center. With just two dedicated employees, Alleen set out to bring high-quality, stylish window treatments to the downtown core. Our mission was simple yet ambitious—to bring top-notch window treatments to the downtown core.

In the bustling 80s, Alleen’s story started in downtown Toronto, quickly followed by our specialized drapery store in Markham. These early years were all about building relationships and earning trust, one beautiful window treatment at a time. Our commitment to quality and personalized service saw us thriving and expanding.

Expanding Our Horizons:

2000-2009

The new millennium marked a significant milestone with the opening of our Midtown store at St. Clair in 2000. This expansion allowed us to cater to a broader audience, bringing our exceptional service to even more homes across Toronto. But we didn’t stop there. In 2009, Alleen took a bold step forward, partnering with Salnek’s to amplify our reach and capabilities. This strategic alliance combined the strengths of both brands, creating a powerhouse in the
window treatment industry.
